High-performance brushless servos (BLDC) typically use a square metric flange system. These are common in industrial robotics (e.g., Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa). Sizes are denoted by the flange width in mm.

Design Parameters
- PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter): The diameter of the circle passing through the center of the mounting bolts.
